Description
This aluminum scoop stretcher is used specifically for moving injured people. It is most commonly used to lift victims who may have a potential spinal cord injury from the ground, or in order to reduce the chance of undesirable movement of injured areas during the transfer of a patient. The soop stretcher has a structure that separates into two vertical parts that go on either side of the victim. An open center permits the patient to be X-rayed while remaining immobilized on the stretcher. The two parts can then be brought together underneath the patient and then secured using the clips at the top and bottom of the device.
