The Nasco Biopsy Simulation Training Kit provides a realistic, reusable practice platform for performing biopsies of skin lesions. The 3-1/2" × 6-1/2" silicone pad features multiple detailed lesions with simulated epidermal, dermal, and subcutaneous layers. It allows students to practice excision, punch, and shave biopsies, as well as suturing the biopsy site. The kit includes a 1/8" true-cut biopsy punch and storage box and is latex-free.
The kit gives learners an opportunity to develop biopsy techniques in a controlled setting before performing procedures in clinical practice.
