Description
A specialized moulage simulator designed to reproduce the appearance of smallpox lesions during the 8th–10th day of disease progression. It enhances realism in outbreak response, infectious disease recognition, patient assessment, and infection control training scenarios.
The model allows trainees to examine the distribution and visual characteristics of simulated lesions and compare them with other rash presentations encountered during infectious disease assessment. It can also be incorporated into exercises involving patient isolation, exposure-risk assessment, specimen-handling precautions, protective equipment selection, and communication with infection prevention teams during suspected outbreak scenarios.
Features:
- Simulates advanced-stage smallpox lesion development
- Supports infectious disease recognition and response training
- Realistic appearance for immersive simulation exercises
- Easy to apply to manikins or standardized patients
- Ideal for healthcare, EMS, military, and public health education programs
