Description
QuikClot Control+™ Hemostatic Device (12" x 12") is the first FDA-cleared hemostatic dressing indicated for Class III and Class IV severe bleeding in the internal organ space. The device uses proprietary kaolin-impregnated non-woven material that activates Factor XII in the intrinsic clotting pathway, accelerating the clotting cascade to help control bleeding more quickly than standard gauze.
By promoting faster hemostasis, QuikClot Control+™ may help improve visualization of the surgical field, enabling clinicians to more quickly identify and address the source of bleeding.
