Description
Reduce the risk of blood exposure and contamination with ViaValve® Safety IV Catheters. A unique valve inside the hub impedes blood flow from the patient's vein upon initial venipuncture. The valve is activated by attaching the Luer fitting of an infusion line to open the valve and allow unrestricted flow. A safety guard surrounds the retracted introducer needle and produces a "click" sound to indicate the needle is contained for handling and disposal
