Description
ReadyHeat™ Full Body Temperature Management Blanket is an active thermal blanket for in-hospital use. The heat pads used are smaller and arranged differently than in the preclinical products.
The products provide rapid active heat for hypothermia prophylaxis and are made from a non-woven fabric incorporating heat elements.
After the package is opened, the elements react with oxygen, heating up to about 40°C in about 15 minutes and maintaining this temperature for at least eight hours. Higher temperatures of up to 52°C are also possible for short periods, which is why Ready-Heat™ products should not be applied directly to bare skin.
